1. Who is responsible

2. What we collect

Account: your name, email address and password (stored only as a secure one-way hash), and two-factor settings if you turn them on.
Payments: the plan, amount, date, status and PayU's payment reference, the method type PayU reports (such as UPI or card), and the checkout confirmation you gave. Your mobile number is passed to PayU for the payment confirmation. We never receive your card, UPI or bank details; PayU handles those.
Learning and labs: courses you enrol in and lessons you complete, missions and credentials, when you open a lab, and what you build in your lab workspace.
Things you send us: messages to the website assistant, the contact form, solution-brief and plan requests, and any files or photos you upload (Waypoint captures include the photo's location).
Site analytics: the pages you visit, where you came from (referring site or campaign), your browser type and an anonymous identifier that changes every day. Your IP address and full browser details are stored only if you accept the cookie banner.

3. Cookies

We use three cookies of our own: one that keeps you signed in, one that remembers your cookie-banner choice, and one (ab_src, kept for 30 days) that records which link or campaign first brought you here. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking scripts.

4. Why we use it

to run your account, courses, labs and credentials;
to take payments and keep payment records;
to answer your questions and complaints;
to keep the service secure and prevent fraud and misuse;
to respond to payment disputes and meet legal obligations; and
to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed to run the service:

PayU Payments Private Limited, to process payments;
our hosting providers: Render (which hosts the website and its database) and Cloudflare (which carries traffic to the practice labs);
banks and card networks, when responding to a payment dispute; and
authorities, when the law requires it.

Our AI features run on models we operate ourselves; what you type to them is not sent to third-party AI companies.

6. Public credentials

Credential pages are public by design so employers can verify them. They show your name, the credential and the skills it covers, but not your email address.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is open and for as long as needed for the purposes above. Payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. When you close your account, we delete or anonymise your other personal data unless we need to keep it to resolve a dispute or meet a legal obligation.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, passwords and sign-in sessions are stored only as hashes, each learner's lab workspace is private to them, and administrator accounts can be protected with two-factor authentication.

9. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or erase it, withdraw consent you have given, nominate someone to exercise these rights for you, and raise a grievance. Email adsbot.inc@gmail.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

10. Children

AdsBot is intended for adults. Plans may only be bought by people aged 18 or over.
